In August 2011, Lifehouse announced on their official Facebook page that they were working on their sixth studio album.[30]
The first single from their new album was released on September 11, 2012 and is called "Between the Raindrops." The song features Natasha Bedingfield.[citation needed]
On October 18, 2012, the band announced that the title of their sixth album is "Almeria", which will be released on December 11th in the US, and December 12th worldwide.
