Amogh Symphony originally started as a solo studio project by Indian musician/producer Vishal J. Singh in 2004. Within 4 years of existence of this project and underground popularity in the underground circuit of Asian metal, it inspired a whole new generation of Experimental/Metal bands not just in his country India but across the globe. Reports and evidences clearly indicates that Amogh Symphony is one of the pioneer of the new generation of Progressive metal music movement in India.

They have recently finished working on their third much-anticipated studio album "Vectorscan", which this time is no longer a solo work but a collaboration between Singh, Jim Richman, and Andrey Sazonov.
