Roughly a year and a half after the release of debut LP "The Earth Pushed Back," the boys of Have Mercy have returned to release their sophomore follow-up "A Place Of Our Own" on Hopeless Records. For this record they worked with Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Dangerous Summer) as their producer.
Vocalist Brian Swindle said of the album, "Every song on this record is mainly just about how I felt after dealing with breaking up with a girl, being on the road for six weeks, and then coming home to being just a whole new person [...] and getting to know myself again."
The album is set to be released on October 27, 2014.
The Earth Pushed Back was one of my favorite albums of 2013, so I’m really excited for the new release. The singles they’ve released already are a sign of good things.
