Lansing Michigan's OF VIRTUE was formed in early 2009 bringing a unique mix of technicality and emotion while seemlessly weaving haunting heartfelt melodies and driving progressive hardcore all with the poise and confidence of seasoned veterans while still being young as musicians. Their energetic performances have been winning over fans of all genres and continue to do so throughout the years.
December 19, 2009 Of Virtue released their debut EP entitled “To Breathe Again.” Under that album cycle, Of Virtue was declared the winner of the annual Hot Topic Band Grant competition; which was held nationwide throughout all 700 Hot Topic locations. This honor consists of national distribution of their EP “To Breathe Again” as well as their wearable merchandise, and a financial grant to further the band’s endeavors.
Of Virtue then released their debut full length entitled “Heartsounds” through a Michigan based label The Great Lakes Collective (GLC Records) on August 27th 2011.
They are set to release their new album "Salvation" on June 2nd.
