sible part of a group that comes from absolute privacy. The songs, created with care in the lounge of a house in the south-east Coast of Spain, evoke the past, magical and perfect: here is the acoustic British folk of Nick Drake or Donovan and the West Coast of Brian Wilson. They have digested everything of Stuart Murdoch, Iron & Wine, Fleet Foxes and have shared it as a group. And then... is the magic still there? Without a doubt!

In just a year and a half their home recordings have received rave reviews in media sources such as Rockdelux, Neo2, Jenesaipop, RNE and even related media in Mexico; they have reached the last phase of Proyecto Demo Contest of the FIB and have appeared in festival venues such as Contempopranea or Arenal Sound.

Now, they are ready to drop a new album, Odisea, this spring through Cydonia, Ramón R.'s (The New Raemon) label.

Through Cydonia, La Familia del Árbol shares a new song from Odisea, entitled Caballo (Horse). According to Nacho, this song wass born when Pilar and him were playing as a duet, and he wanted to show that anger toward some things in him that never finish to explode. "At no time did we think it was out of our sound, it's more, playing the two of us was a buzz, we had a tremendous complicity. Being a small nod to Neil Young and natural purity of that animal, Caballo's guitars were recorded with an amp so old Nacho himself says to not know the brand (and adds it was without pedals). "The truth is", he says, "that I love how it sound, it's a mixture of Helter Skelter with a gospel song."

The full album will be on iTunes, Spotify and Deezer September s5th.

Compact Disc in Fnac and record stores from October 2nd.
