After the end of Danity Kane, the last two remaining members Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex decided to continue and form a new musical project called Dumblonde.
O’Day and Bex announced the new project on their Instagram. The girls have finally released their self-titled debut album “Dumblonde” on September 25th via Double Platinum.
The pre-order arrived on July 17th including five new tracks as instant grat including “White Lightning“, “Eyes On Horizon“, “Tender Green Life“, “Remember Me” and “Dreamsicle“. They also premiered the visuals for “White Lightning” the same day.
The duo has previously announced a 6 tracks EP with 6 videos but finally this project has turned to a full LP, which is described as dance music that fuses 70s and 80s dance music with modern electronic music from artists such as The Ting Tings and La Roux.
The second promotional music video is for the track “Dreamsicle“, which was directed by Justin Jones and Aubrey O’Day, and it was premiered on July 31st. The video for “Tender Green Life” was premiered on August 20th.
