Danish/American rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT will release their sixth full-length album, "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie", on June 3. The CD's first single, "The Devil's Bleeding Crown", has just been made available at radio and can be streamed below in the form of the official lyric video.
"Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" was mixed by Joe Barresi, the American record engineer and producer who has previously worked with bands such as KYUSS, MELVINS, TOOL, CHEVELLE and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. The follow-up to 2013's "Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies" was once again co-produced by Rob Caggiano, who joined VOLBEAT as the band's lead guitarist in February 2013.
VOLBEAT originally performed "The Devil's Bleeding Crown", in full live for the first time in August 2015 in front of over 37,000 people at Tusindarsskoven in Odense, Denmark.
After the last album was kinda disapointing, I hope this one will be much better. The first single sounds promising.

I expect Volbeat will be tomorrow since most places will be getting their shipments in to stock, but a little birdie tells me there are some seriously private trackers out there that have this album already awaiting ‘approval’.
So close to release. Can’t believe no leak! NO matter, I will be buying this day 1 anyway.
It appears that since the release days switched to Fridays, that the “leak” dates have all but disappeared. We get them maybe a day or 2 ahead anymore if that.

RIP Volbeat. What a boring same sounding album. What happened to the soul and sheer attack of the music. It’s all gone. All that is left is radio bubble gum pop songs. Shame. Saw these guys twice and had such fire live.
I agree. However if you do some research, look at some interviews, I think this is exactly what they wanted to do. Pop rock and all.
