Look Park is the first solo effort from Chris Collingwood of Fountains of Wayne.
Look Park sees Collingwood setting out on his own to weave tunes familiar, but with a personal flourish sure to draw like-minded listeners.
The first single, "Aeroplane" takes the subject of the strange crowded loneliness of travel and turns it into a soothing, soaring melted chorus of piano, electric and acoustic guitars. You can hear "Aeroplane" over at Yep Rock Music Group, linked on the Stereogum article announcing the album.
Look Park is due out 4/22 later this year.
