John K. Samson Winter Wheat

Ex-The Weakerthans frontman gets set to release sophmore full-length 'Winter Wheat' which follows his solo debut 'Provincial.' The album was produced by Samson's Weakerthans bandmate Jason Tait and Christine Fellows, recorded by The Weakerthans’ sound tech Cam Loeppky, and also features contributions from his Weakerthans bandmate Greg Smith. In an interview with The AV Club, Samson described the album as feeling in some ways like a new Weakerthans album rather than a solo project.
