BrooklynVegan: Mr. Elevator, who seemed to have mostly dropped the “& The Brain Hotel” portion of their name, will release their new album, When the Morning Greets You, on February 10 via Rad Cat Records. While stilly making catchy, organ-driven psych-pop, the new record feels a little less stuck in the ’60s (think MGMT first album deep cuts) as you can hear on first single “Sunshine Daydream.” The video for the song, directed by Logan Feser, has three girls dabbling in magic with rather phantasmagoric results. It seems at least a little inspired by cult Japanese horror film Hausu and premieres in this post. Watch below.
