Cradle Of Filth requires very little introduction. Having endured significant changes throughout their years, both in style and members, Cradle Of Filth still managed to maintain a big influence on the (symphonic black) metal scene in general. "Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness Of Decay" will mark their 12th full-length album, set to release on September 22nd.
I don’t know why it’s presented as their twelfth full-length, since I’m pretty sure it’s their fourteenth already… but what the heck.
Ah, never mind… probably because two of their most recent releases are re-recordings.
Full Lengths –
1 – The Principle of Evil Made Flesh
2 – Dusk and her Embrace
3 – Cruelty and the Beast
4 – Midian
5 – Damnation and a Day
6 – Nymphetamine
7 – Thornography
8 – Godspeed on the Devil’s Thunder
9 – Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa
10 – The Manticore and other Horros
11 – Hammer of the Witches
12 – Cryptoriana
Yeah… well, technically those two re-recordings are also of full-length xD
Leaked already?? Damn, somebody messed up big time :O
This is a great album, I like it better than Midian, I shouldn’t say that because I’ll probably upset some old Cradle of Filth fans.
Feel free, I wasn’t a fan of much after Cruelty and the Beast tbh.
