Olympia's Wolves in the Throne Room are back with Estuary, a concept album set a thousand years in the future, after civilization has collapsed and survivors roam haunted ruins full of mutant creatures and open portals. According to Nathan Weaver, the estuaries of the title are places where magic has taken physical form. The band describes it as their rawest and most volatile record yet, with noisy industrial elements woven into their atmospheric black metal. First single "Ghosts Among the Obelisks" is out now. Estuary arrives October 23rd via Relapse Records in North America and Century Media in the rest of the world.
