As black metal fan, it'd be quite extraordinary to be unfamiliar with Taake... but for those who still happen to be, Taake is the solo project of Ulvhedin Høst (Ørjan Stedjeberg) a.k.s. Høst or Hoest, formed in Bergen (Hordaland) Norway. Taake is mostly distinguishable from typical "true" Norwegian Black Metal, for using more melody than usual... even incorporating some external elements like banjos, some would say it's leaning towards viking metal. His new album will be released on November 24th.
I’ve been literally waiting and thinking for more than a year about this release.
I crave it more everyday.
Taake is a drug, and a good one.
