Lee Gamble is releasing three LPs on Hyperdub.
Described as a triptych, Flush Real Pharynx will consist of three albums, the first of which, the seven-track In A Paraventral Scale, is out February 1st, 2019. The project sees the English producer returning to Hyperdub, which released his last LP, Mnestic Pressure, in 2017.
Described as a "sonic documentary," Flush Real Pharynx will aim to explore the "three stages of the Semioblitz—the aggressive onslaught of visual & sonic stimuli of contemporary cities & virtual spaces." (A reference to the Semioblitz can be found in the late critical theorist and writer Mark Fisher's blog, k-punk, which was recently collected in a new anthology.) The other two parts will come out later in 2019 and will be complemented by a new audiovisual live show.
