Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails returns with a new album, titled "Hesitation Marks".
From TR: “I’ve been less than honest about what I’ve really been up to lately. For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!”
The album will get four different album covers, the one featured is for the digial version of the album.

I really have no idea how this hasn’t already leaked yet, especially seeing as in some countries it comes out in, what, 5 days or so? Kudos to Trent and co, though, that’s some seriously impressive control.
I agree, I was really expecting a leak before now but……
Heck, in Australia, it’s the 26th at this point. They apparently get the iTunes release on the 29th.
So we should have the album no later than 9am CST this Wednesday. :P

I’m just echoing what other people have said but I REALLY love all the songs released so far. I’m more excited for this album than I have been for anything in a long long time. I’ll bet (if history is any indication) that the songs we haven’t heard are even better. I’m totally ready for the leak!

Australia/UK iTunes release is August 30th..only a matter of time!

I know a lot of people have been saying this but I’m very excited for this album! I honestly love every song that has came out so far. I also love that Trent and Co. made it to where its hard to grasp on what direction the album has taken. If these are great, my guess is the rest of the album will be ever better! Leak please!

I think it’s okay, it sounds like what I expected. Combination of first five songs are really good, but I cannot say the same thing about rest of the album. Not so good, not too bad.

Amazing album! And Various Methods of Escape is one the best NIN song ever!
This album is great. It is probably one of the most different directions Trent has taken in a while. Sounds like a contemporary dance/electronica record heavily influenced by Talking Heads, Bowie, and NIN’s Pretty Hate Machine.
Totally agreed. Last four tracks are the best on the record.
A-MAZING RECORD!
Totally worthy for a spot for one of the best albums of the year. Its hard to put a finger on the overall sound, which I love and is such a different direction for NIN. For me, its got everything and I don’t love an album this much since The Fragile. Copy of A, Find My Way, Satellite, I Would For You and While I’m Still Here are my favorites, enjoy everyone!
My albums of the year shortlist had The Knife on top but I’m pretty sure TR just shot his way up to the top.
You guys think the singles Copy of a, Everything, and Came Back Haunted are great??? Well guess what the album leaked and the non-singles are AMAZING. Listen to the song SATELLITE………………this album is his best since Downward Spiral and NOOOOOOOO it’s not a self-parody of older times, it’s a step forward beleive me
