It’s that time of year again. And just like last year, I think we should compose a list of nominations together. The rules are simple: Add three nominations in the comment section below. If an album is getting two or more mentions, it will likely end up on the final list where we all vote on the definitive top list.
Last year there were an amazing 700 submissions, with 70 of the titles ending up in the top list. And as RTJ pointed out to me earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar almost killed the suspense and won by a landslide last year. But this year it might be a bit different as there’s a lot of major artists who put out stellar albums, as well as some minor, indie artists killing it with their debuts.
