The Temper Trap Prepare For Spring Sophomore Release

Australian five-piece act The Temper Trap have been in the studio recording the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2009 debut LP Conditions. Speaking to British rock magazine The Fly, guitarist Lorenzo Sillitto describes the effort as “signature sounding,” while maintaining the most difficult part of writing the as-yet untitled album has been “self doubt.”

The indie rockers made a splash when their hit single “Sweet Disposition” was featured on the soundtrack of Marc Webb’s comedy-drama film 500 Days of Summer. Although details of a release date and track listing have not been released, a recent tweet suggests the band is in the finishing stages of post-production.
