Jay Electronica Act II: The Turn

News

Added

Jay Eletronica last released any sizable amount of material in 2007 with the Style Wars EP and Act I: Eternal Sunshine (the pledge) mixtape. Since then he has dropped the a few tracks and two singles, "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit C", for a long delayed debut album.

After signing with Jay Z's Roc Nation in 2010, Elec set about completing what has become one of the most anticipated albums in Hip Hop. In March of 2012 Jay revealed via Twitter that the album was completed and had been submitted to Roc Nation. Though details are currently scarce, there is no official release date or cover art, Jay has recently revealed the track listing.

Last I heard and this was quite a while ago. Jay Z loves the album but didn’t see a single, so I guess we are waiting on a single.

And I have done my math right, considering the release of his last project in 2007. So in six years, Jay Elec has created a total of 15 songs taking 146 days each. So we just have to wait about 146 days.

I’m so mad about this album release that I’m debating reporting this post. No release date or Cover art…Sounds like it doesn’t belong on this site. Ugh, come on Jay don’t make me take out my frustration on the guy that added this album.
