Lovedrug formed in Canton, Ohio in 2001. Since then, they have released three full-length LP's and a variety of EP's and singles. Members include lead vocalist, guitarist, and pianist Michael Shepard, Jeremy Gifford (guitar, synthesizer, vocals), Thomas Bragg (bass), and James Childress (drums).
In 2011 and 2012, Lovedrug left their seven year career with label The Militia Group, with whom they had released three albums, and started a pledge-based campaign called "I Am Lovedrug" to raise funds for the production of an independently made fourth album. Lovedrug released the split single "Pink Champagne/Dinosaur" on September 6, 2011.
The official release date for "Wild Blood" is March 6, 2012.
