Lissie burst onto the scene in 2009-2010 with her EP "Why You Runnin'" and then her debut album "Catching a Tiger." Many have compared her to the likes of Stevie Nicks. Her sophomore album is due out this summer. No release date has been set yet, and the title and album art are subject to change. She released the lyric video for her first song "Shameless" off the upcoming album on April 9th. In regards to the song, Lissie stated, "Hey friends,, I try not to read anything about myself cause im sensitive! Haha! But couldnt help it! Thanks for all of the overwhelmingly positive responses. I was so excited yesterday to see what yall thought!!! I did want to say that this is the only song I cuss on on the new record :) & there's lots of variety to come,, can't wait for you all to hear the whole record!!! Will try to tease some of the new tunes ASAP!"
