After a highly successful fan funded album campaign, the pop-punk band Mindless Self Indulgence are going to release their 7th studio album.
How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence is the fifth studio album by Mindless Self Indulgence. This album was funded through a Kickstarter campaign started on October 25, 2012. The campaign reached its goal on December 24, 2012. With several demos released through YouTube, the album began production. The cover art and track listing for the album were released for people who backed the campaign on March 12, 2013. Digital downloads from Kickstarter were released just after midnight on March 14, 2013.
Interesting way to release an album. I’m not sure I understand this fan funded way of releasing an album. I’ll have to look into this more.
the stories ive read and heard, ive been grown to love mindless self indulgence out of sheer chance. an affinity toward their punk motives has spawned the idea of : its a way around the corporate monster head. the one that dictates what gets seen or played in the stereo. its an honest attempt at releasing music honestly. they dont hide their motives. “GIVE US MONEY! otherwise the album wont get made.”
That is something I can totally support. Good for them.
I need points to report a leak however it HAS leaked. Here is the tracklisting:
“Witness”
“Fuck Machine”
“It Gets Worse
“I Want to be Black”
“Hey Tomorrow Fuck You and Your Friend Yesterday”
“You’re No Fun Anymore Mark Trezona”
“Ala Mode”
“Casio”
“Anonymous”
“Kill You All in a Hip Hop Rage”
“Stalkers (Slit My Wrists)
“Jack You Up”
“Ass Backwards”
“Angel” (Bonus track)
“I Am Not Here To Make Any Friends” (Bonus track)

[edit]
Sex For Homework wasn’t a Kickstarter exclusive, it only comes out on the deluxe edition, it wasn’t even on the Kickstarter download edition.
The other three bonus tracks, however, were only on the Kickstarter one.
..it’s on GetMetal (:
This cant be any good with an album title and track names like that.
A lot more arranged than their other stuff. It almost sounds poppy at some points, but it has a few good tracks. Didn’t live up to my exceptions though.
Very hypersensitive post. I by all means appreciate this website. Conserve writing!
Haters gonna die.
