Mental Assault Edge Of Days

Mental Assault is a Russian modern metal band, originally formed in 2005 by guitarist Alexey Tsikov and drumer Kirill "MACK" Makovkin. The original concept of music was insired by Fear Factory and In Flames. Thrash, death and industrial guitar riffs were mixed with agressive and growl vocals.

Band tried to work with several vocalists but none of them could make the right sound.

In 2009 members decieded to try to mix music with some other kinds of vocal. Irina "Axis" Galagan was invited to join the band.

And that was a rebirth. Clean and powerful female vocal added melodic to heavy and broken patterns giving new original sound.

Today Mental Assault is Irina "Axis" Galagan on vocals, Alexey Tsikov on guitar, Vladimir Zakharov on bass and Kirill "MACK" Makovkin on drums.
