Expected to be out by this year via Top Dawg Entertainment, the long awaited full leght major debut album by American singer-songwriter Solána Rowe, known as SZA, has properly started on its promotion. On January 13th, the singer has premiered unexpectedly a brand new single called “Drew Barrymore“ via Apple Music.

With little-to-no album-based promo, no tweets from SZA since Jan. 30, plus no available links to any streaming services, iTunes or anywhere, it seems that we are back at square one with CTRL altogether.

“We never said that [it would be out on February 3]... If it doesn’t come directly from TDE then [it] isn’t official. [It’s] coming soon, very soon” said the label.

Added to this, the Bilboard interview headline, actually, was later edited to read: "With her debut album, CTRL, out in February, the 26-year-old R&B singer breaks down the experiences that shaped her music."
