The Crash Years was originally formed by lead vocalist/pianist, Joel Cox in October of 2010. But as the months progressed, interest in the project grew and gave way to new members joining. The solo act quickly became a full band act with members all dedicating their time to making the music more influential. The band is fresh. It's something new. Strongly influenced by bands such as Dashboard Confessional, The Get Up Kids, and Augustana, The Crash Years have set out with one goal in mind-to change the face of the music scene by bringing back lyrically targeted music that will influence listeners from all genres. Breaking down the walls that separate the similarities in all people is the soul purpose of the band. Helping people through good and bad.
