With cover that exposes an intentionally blurred photo taken by Daryan Dornelles and art signed by Estúdio Clarabóia, Helio Flanders' first solo album, Uma Temporada Fora de Mim (A Season Out of Me), will be available on digital platforms from tomorrow, September 11th, in an edition from the label Deck.
The singer-songwriter from Mato Grosso explains the concept of the cover: "The idea of calling Daryan Dornelles arose because his photos always bring a sweeping motion, they move me, and I thought it would be interesting to have him for this moment. By writing and singing these songs, I felt that they could be from anybody. So it did not matter to have my face visible. The experience of Uma Temporada Fora de Mim, as its title suggests, goes through this moment of confusion, where we don't even know if what we're experiencing is real or not. The album art was the work of another group that's already part of my story, the Estúdio Clarabóia, responsible for the album art of Vanguart's albums Boa Parte de Mim Vai Embora (2011) and Muito Mais Que o Amor (2013), and in which I trust entirely for their tasteful and accurate designs", explains Flanders, vocalist and main songwriter from Vanguart, group originated in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso.
