Midwestern, Alt. Rock act, Boys of Fall, sparks flames following the release of their debut single, “My Promise to Maryland,” (Directed by Brandan Lee Keller). For fans of A Day to Remember, Of Mice & Men and Mayday Parade, Boys of Fall’s upcoming release, No Place Like Home (EP), bridges avenues between Alternative Pop, Punk and Post-Hardcore. Composed of motifs vis-à-vis antiquated, hopeless romanticism and martyrdom, Boys of Fall’s euphonic pop harmonies interlock amid tightly structured, alternative instrumentations. The band is currently finishing their debut record release with producer, Johnny Franck (ex-Attack Attack) – tentatively expected April/May 2015. “This’ll be [Boys of Fall’s] second release after two years of touring on the demo EP, The Call Out. We’ve been writing and recording in the basement of a Detroit funeral home for the past year,” says Boys of Fall’s vocalist, Michael Martenson.
This debut album, twill turn out to be their last release, as the band will be calling it quits after the release. "Thank You & Goodbye" will release on June 3rd.
