Based out of Elgin, Illinois, melodic Christian rock outfit Citizen Way formed in 2004 as The Least of These (not to be confused with the Texas CCM outfit of the same name) and issued an eponymous debut album under the moniker in 2009. The group, which consists of two pairs of siblings and Judson University alumni, Ben and David Blascoe and Ben and Josh Calhoun, released their first single, "Should've Been Me," under the new name in 2012. Their first long player, the Fair Trade-issued Love Is the Evidence, arrived the following year and found its way onto the Billboard Heatseekers and Christian albums charts. Down to a trio with Ben Blascoe leaving the group, Citizen Way's second album, 2.0, was released with the same label in March 2016.
