We want to thank anyone again who came out to our show! The turnout was amazing, especially considering we've pretty freshly come out of the gate.
For those of you who didn't notice, Shawn Economaki formerly of Deadfront and Stone Sour most recently joined our band and was a warrior at the show, as he tore the tendon in his pinky finger on his fretting hand about three minutes before show time and threw some duct tape on it to seamlessly make it through the set!
There were also some logistical hang ups before the show forcing so many of our fans and friends to wait outside the show for a pretty long time and we want to apologize for the wait. We hope that didn't deter too many of you from enjoying the night or missing it all together.
All and all the CD release was a success. We spent a lot of love, time, money and energy writing, publishing and releasing the album and we want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get the actual CD with the album art before we release it digitally for download.
As of right now we are a completely independent band doing everything on our own. It's us and it's you, no fat cats in between. This gives us the opportunity at this juncture to form a tight bond with our fans. These are the early stages of what we hope to be a long and prosperous musical adventure and relationship with you, and we will always cherish anyone supporting us NOW the most, as long as we exist. You are the first sticks on the fire, and we need your help to spread this across the lands.
You can start helping us by simply contacting us and requesting a CD. Again, we are doing this without the help of any management or label, so we will personally sign the album for you and personally drop it in the mail for you with our personal love just for you.
We will have our band pay pal up this week and ready to start processing orders, just let us know what you want: we have T-shirts, patches, lanyards, hats, even candles and obviously the album and we can personalize them just for you before we ship them.
We need your help and support; you, as our fan base are the backbone of the band. Help us by spreading our music, hash-tagging us #dogsofneptune whenever you mention us on social media. Help get us trending on the web and in your real life networks. Share our music with your friends, family and coworkers. Brag us up, we are YOUR band, you discovered us.
On our end, we will continue to write music with all of the creativity, love and passion in our hearts and souls. For us, there is no label telling us how to write and when to write. We have one-hundred percent creative freedom and we will take advantage of that to produce the best product we can for you.
2016 will be a prolific year of writing and producing for us. We have videos and new music coming to you so keep in touch and please chat with us. We will personally and diligently keep in touch with you if you reach out to us.
June 15th is the date of our digital release on all major download sites, but until then, we implore you to get the real album so you have it as a relic of our beginning.
