M83's new album Junk will be released April 8 via Mute. It's the follow-up to 2011's breakthrough Hurry Up, We're Dreaming and the soundtrack for the Tom Cruise sci-fi movie Oblivion in 2013. Details are slim beyond the album's release date — its cover and tracklist haven't been made available yet — but the album has been finished since December, and Gonzales described its sound in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It's a very strong album with a lot of eclecticism," said Gonzales. "It's very epic... It's also quite different from the previous albums which is what I'm the most proud of."
hopefully this leaks before it’s released… I see them 4/6 and album comes out 4/8

I am psyched for this. I remember that “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” leaked like a month and a half before it was supposed to be released. I doubt it’s any indication but maybe we’ll still see it a couple days early!

if you’ve heard the whole thing I’d like to hear more of your opinions on the sound, the album is meant to be really diverse in styles and eclectic – so would like to hear more about that if you don’t mind
