The creation of Seraphim came long before the summer of 2011 when original members Jordan Radvansky, Noah Smethwick, Joel Baker, Jalen Buer, and Ian Bybee entered the studio with Ex guitarist and frontman Johnny Franck.
Rewinding back to as early as 2006, the young members of what became Seraphim jammed together in their basements hoping that one day their music would reach the masses. A few years later, in February of 2011, they decided that they wanted to record with Johnny Franck and start their music careers. That July, the boys found themselves in Westerville Ohio recording their first EP "The Passage" inspired by post-hardcore and metalcore. While in the studio, they named themselves Seraphim.
A year passed and they boys once again found themselves in studio again with Franck recording their album "Roots & Ruins" releasing it in 2013.
In 2015, Seraphim played the Earnie Ball stage at the Vans 2015 Warped Tour and returned to Franck once again in August.
