After the passing of Chester Bennington, members of Linkin Park has been active and supporting the legacy of the late singer. This includes a massive gig dedicated to the singer, with an impressive set of guest appearances. But for those of us who couldn't attend the groups final tour, they're about to release One More Light Live.
While One More Light was controversial, dividing the fans into two, the tour was said to be one of their best ones. This album proves that the group wanted more than just radio hits and gave it their all during the final gigs.
I’ve watched bits and pieces of the concert itself online, but the fact that the audience singing along echoes back and some of the guests weren’t worth it. No offence to the band or their music, I liked the new record, but it was weird to hear other singers who don’t fit their musical style sing for Chester.
This isn’t the concert they did for Chester, this is a collection of live recordings of the last tour/show with Chester :-(
Oh gotcha! When this was first posted I read it as the live show they did after he passed.
Linkin Park will never be the same, but I hope they continue :(
RIP
