Paramore are back after a four year break with their new album 'After Laughter'.
Their first singles 'Hard Times' captures exactly what their fans went through during the break.
It has been labelled as a 'new direction' for the band, with returning drummer Zak Farro on the record.
Paramore have finally announced details of their brand new album ‘After Laughter’. The band’s fifth album - and first with their newest line-up of Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro - is due for release on 12th May via Fueled By Ramen.
Co-produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen and the band’s guitarist York and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, the album follows on from their previous self-titled album, which landed all the way back in 2013.
That’s not all: they’ve offered up a first taste of what to expect in the form of the record’s first single ‘Hard Times’, for which they’ve also revealed a technicolour video. With a huge chorus and sugary vocals, it sounds as though ‘After Laughter’ could be following in the bombastic footsteps of the likes of ‘Still Into You’ and ‘Ain’t It Fun’ from the self-titled record.

There’s usually one false alarm before the actual leak happens. Can’t be long anymore now!
And surely is unavoidable as there are physical copies available to stores.

What happened with the Hackers??? Some years ago albums leaked one week before… now they’re released in some countries… and it seems like they leaked a day before… it’s so sad…. can’t wait any longer for After Laughter….

The wait is usually longer. People have Spotify now, Apple Music, so not many people have the desire to leak things. They usually have things to hold them over. Some don’t even know a new Paramore album is even coming out because they just don’t check as often anymore unfortunately :(
I hope everyone in the comment section waiting for it to be leaked has preordered it already. Let’s give the band some credit by actually BUYING their music!
Leaks used to be about having it early… like before everyone else. Also, “try before you buy” is the name of the game. Though I suppose you could cancel a pre-order if you didn’t like it.

It’s like some cruel joke that everyone is in on – the physical album has been in peoples’ hands for days and either none of them are leaking it, or it wouldn’t occur to any of those people to leak it.
everyone is so desperate to be twitter famous for 15 minutes, that’s why.
It just doesn’t make sense. Even if albums were to be shipped out at the last possible minute, record stores would still get them at least a week early. Is there no one left who wants to take the risk and leak new albums anymore? Have the security measures gotten too good? It just seems so unlikely for anything that still is released physically!
Yeah.. I think people are simply afraid of leaking an album, maybe because they know it’s illegal. But on the other hand it always was illegal, but albums have leaked anyway.
Maybe I should wait until Friday…

Guys, I just checked a thread at ARTL (Paramore – After Laughter) and they are posting some twitter pics from people that already have the CD!!! For example the album is already out in France – people can already buy it!! AND STILL THERE’S NO LEAK YET – what’s wrong with the world????
Yeah, they are all about the “respect the band” horsecrap. As if this would change anything, people who don’t want to pay for the album still won’t pay a dime. This just keeps the rest of the fanbase from listening to the album earlier which IS mildly infuriating.
Bands like Paramore aren’t making most of their income from CD sales anyway. It’s sort of silly.

Yeah love the new vibe they got going. My favourite tracks gotta be Caught In the Middle and Hard Times, but I’ll definitely have to give the record a few more spins.
