Guitarist from the Grammy-nominated group The Internet, Steve Lacy's will be the third member of the group to drop something this year, after keyboard/vocalist Martians and vocalist Syd. He calls the album a (?) "song series" – not really sure what that means, but it sounds amazing. He's been involved in both Matt and Syd's albums, but he's still got his absolutely unique sound, so even if you've listened to one or two of the other 2 records, give this third one a try.
Just when I thought 2017 couldn’t get any better, with Gorillaz and Thundercat releasing stuff, and a bunch of great records already being out there, this guy releases “Dark Red” and it’s absolutely amazing. Can’t wait – I’ll probably cry a bit.
