The Sword is reportedly working on a new album, titled "Used Future", which is scheduled to be released in January, on Razor & Tie Records. The band is working in Portland, Oregon, at the Flora Recording and Playback, with producer Tucker Martine. Until their latest album, "High Country", the band was known for their Mastodon/Baroness/Red Fang-like sound with a touch of doom in it. "High Country" had a much more classic rock (mostly Thin Lizzy) feel to it, so it will be interesting to see, where they go next.
