As a lot of bands change over time, trying to conform to whatever is getting the most views on YouTube, we’ll always have Alkaline Trio. A band, while growing a whole lot, has stayed so close to what made them great from the beginning. Even with Matt joining Blink 182 (which just sounded like Blink 182 ft. Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio) it hasn’t changed the band. It’s still Alkaline Trio, and I feel it always will be; and I like that. I’ve been listening to them for a good 20 years, and if this album is as good as the rest, then here’s to another 20 years.
Been listening ever since Armageddon blew me away on Tony Hawks soundtrack back in 04 or so…. Never have been disappointed by an album since. Every album is usually pretty darn good from start to finish and we always get a few standout tracks we’ll always wanna play. Even Matt and Dan’s solo stuff are great listens. My 2nd fave band ever… Cant wait!!!
Goodbye Forever is still the best A3 song ever written imo.
