Winterfylleth is a pagan black metal band from Manchester UK, concerned with themes of England's history/heritage, poetry and folklore. "Winterfylleþ" (which translates into Winter Full Moon from the Old English language) represents the first full moon in October, as well as the Anglo-Saxon festival of the arrival of winter. Since their inception in 2007 they have released five full-length albums, and will be releasing their sixth, titled "The Hallowing Of Heirdom", on April 6th.
Interesting first song to drop. As much as I like a bit of folk-metal. I hope they haven’t forgotten about the metal. I’m hoping for something as good as The Divination of Antiquity.
Had exactly the same thought.
Did this really leak already? That’s pretty early.
So, apparently it’s an all-acoustic folk album… it seems I didn’t quite get that memo. What a bummer.
