A great band you may have formerly known and listened to in the past as the band named: "Slaves" , were ultimately forced to change their name to Rain City Drive.
The reason for the name change may appear obvious in our new over-sensitive and over-reacting American culture; but they were referring to us all being slaves; and addicted to "items of temptation" causing us to be addicted as slaves in life, whether it be women, drugs, music or sports, etc.. It was not Due To 'Racial Connotations' as many reporting outlets have tried to to lie to the public once again.
That being said, these guys now called Rain City Drive are back with a self-titled album release, and they have posted an official release date of July 15 2022.
They have an incredible new song & video (Waiting on You) from their upcoming album! It is outstanding and brilliantly written lyrics referring to being inspired by the pandemic, and being stuck inside and waiting for life start back up again - Waiting on You.
