Remy van Kesteren (1989) is regarded as a world-class harp talent and one of the most adventurous harpists of the moment. At the age of ten he was admitted to the Conservatory of Utrecht in the class of Erika Waardenburg where he graduated with the highest distinction in 2010.
For his latest CD Remy van Kesteren chose music from Spain and Brazil . And colorful, music by Villa – Lobos , Joaquín Rodrigo , Manuel de Falla teetering on the edge of classical music and folk music . Additionally Remy asked the Dutch composer Martin Fondse some new pieces to write that fit this feeling . These documents include the elements of jazz and improvised music to the whole.
