Although Bernie Marsden is best known for his work with early Whitesnake, he has been a member of over 10 other bands, including UFO and Babe Ruth. In addition to this, he has made guest appearances on over 30 different albums, and also boasts an extensive solo discography. In 2014, Marsden returns with 'Shine' – a new studio album of original material.
The album is said to have a slick, commercial production, due heavily in part to being recorded at Abbey Road Studios, which Marsden himself says he believes to be "the best studio in the world".
The album features a stunning line-up of big-name guest appearances, including Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale and contemporary blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa.
Already the album has received positive reviews, with Pete Feenstra of Get Ready To Rock hailing it as a 'career high'.
