Stimming has revealed details of his next album, Alpe Lusia.
The ten-track LP will be Martin Stimming's fourth album on Diynamic Music, the Hamburg-based label he's spent his entire career aligned with. He released his debut 12-inch on Solomun's outlet in 2007, and has appeared on it close to 20 times since. The Alpe Lusia LP, which was inspired by a trip to a remote hut in the Italian Alps, will be Stimming's first solo release for Diynamic since a self-titled LP back in 2013. "I wanted to create something of my own," Stimming says about the new record. "A journey that—apart from the basic house formula—orientates itself as little as possible on contemporary influences." Available digitally, on CD and on vinyl, the album's individual stems will also be available to download.
