Kornél Kovács' debut LP, The Bells, will land on Studio Barnhus on August 26th.
Kovács co-founded Studio Barnhus alongside Axel Boman and Petter Nordkvist, who also DJ together under the same name. The Swedish producer had a hit last year in the form of "Pantalón," an homage to '80s freestyle that landed on his debut EP for Numbers. Next up is The Bells, a ten-track album recorded alongside studio engineer (and close friend) Matt Karmil.
"Kornél's bells will echo far beyond the nervous and trend-sensitive 'dance' genre that our label sometimes is associated with, and into pop history," says Barnhus co-founder Axel Boman. "It's one of our best, most innovative and creative releases to date, and the fact that one of my best friends has managed to do this on the label we share together makes me so proud that I want to cry."
