The XX are a famed UK-based ambient pop group. Their debut album was a massive success, as well as their sophomore debut "Coexist". This new album, though not yet officially announced, follows a series of Spotify playlist teasers titled "-" by a band of the same character. If it comes out, it will be the band's third album following "Coexist". Recently, a Reddit sleuth uncovered the album from Shazam along with a full tracklist. The XX have a show scheduled with Annie Mac on BBC 1 where they may announce the new album. Though we don't have a release date yet, the album release is imminent and will most likely be released through Young Turks.

Can’t say I love “On Hold”. But let’s wait and see.
yeah, they’ve moved away a bit from the minimalist sound that i liked so much (not only on “on hold”, but with “i dare you” as well). but let’s wait and see indeed.
I actually really like “On Hold”. I think their strict adherence to minimalism is why coexist fell so flat for me. The dance-soul influence (Jamie’s solo work seems to be seeping in) is a welcome change-up for me.

At first i found myself disappointed with On Hold but with more and more plays, i now think is wonderful and melancholic!

Sounds absolutely amazing! Lips and Performance are immediate standouts!

Yea, Brave For You (Marfa Demo) is only on the deluxe vinyl edition not the deluxe CD version.
