Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat revealed on his official Twitter account that the title of his debut studio album will be "9", in addition to revealing he finished it in its entirety today. The LP will be released sometime this year by Interscope Records. Last year a fake album leak surfaced containing unmastered demos off the album, it's believed that a lot of the songs initially slated for the project will no longer be included because of this. You can stream the title track below, which was released last Friday.
So excited for this album, but also sad that all of the songs that leaked at the beginning of the year aren’t going to be on the album. Also we have heard 40% of the album, but they are all really good songs so I’m pumped!
I wouldn’t be sad about that. That just means we get even more material than we thought.
I am very excited. Liked most of the track with MØ and SOPHIE.
