Anathema, one of the biggest names in the prog world in the last 20 years, decided to put a hiatus on its way, but meanwhile some of the members form a parallel band and release a new album. Here are some statements posted in Anathema's Facebook page:
"Hello all. Just to make you aware that following ‘cellar door’ will be a new project entitled WEATHER SYSTEMS. Taking the name from the album, the music will be a continuation of the previous band’s legacy, So far this is a project by Daniel but it can expand."
Two demos were published and the Art cover of the new album, revealing the album name and that it will be released probably in 2022. There's no information about other members of the band.
