It’s going to be very exciting to sit down and listen to this for the first time. As is healthy, I remain skeptical to it’s grandiosity, but in all fairness I keep a lively hope that it will indeed be as formidable and outstanding as Wintersun’s “Jari Mäenpää” album. Bring on the layers of music!

Well, to be honest, it’s only half of the project, but getting half an album is better than no album at this point. Sucks that it’s only two weeks away yet there is no leak, though.
I’ve already pre-ordered the limited edition. But I can’t wait for it to leak… I need it now!
I may remind you that Ensiferum’s new album didn’t leak either. I think we’ll have to wait until the day of release.

some people are actually scrobbling the actual tracks because they work for media companies that are reviewing the album
The tracks scrobbled on last.fm aren’t the full tracks but rather the downloaded samples from amazon.
I can add any number of playss to any track on that album because I can use the lastfm api. There isn’t any way to know where the scrobbles come from.
According to the wintermadness.net its supposed to be officially released on the 19th.

I just checked their Facebook, the release party appears to be October 16, Tuesday.
I’m really looking forward to this. After eight years, I’m skeptical, so I’m eager to hear it before I go ahead and buy it.

the release party in helsinki is on the 16th however, so people will be able to get their hands on the album prior to the official release which is the 19th.
