Louisville, Kentucky hardcore act Xerxes have returned to follow up their debut LP Our Home is a Deathbed with sophomore effort Collision Blonde. Recorded in guitarist Will Allard's basement with production help from emo giant Evan Weiss, the band has incorporated elements of dream pop and jangly riffs into their dirty punk sound.

The album is due to be released on October 21, 2014, on No Sleep Records.

New songs are sounding pretty sweet, I can hear Weiss’ influence. Our Home is a Deathbed was an powerhouse, I’m eager to see how this album sounds in its entirety.
