“Avril Lavigne” is the upcoming self-titled fifth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. The album is scheduled for release on digital retailers on September 24 via Epic Records. It comes preceded by the lead single “Here’s to Never Growing Up” and the second single “Rock N Roll“. For now, the singer confirmed two tracks “Hello Kitty“, where she speaks some Japanese on it and said it’s “Aggressive and nothing like she has ever done” plus a collaboration with American rock musician Marilyn Manson in the track “Bad Girl“. The album will also include a collaboration with her husband entitled “Let Me Go” and a lots of power and piano ballads. They has recorded a special song for their wedding but isn’t confirmed if will be included on the album.

I’m really impressed with this Album, i was thinking that was gonna be so bad, but actually is pretty good, the only song i don’t like at all is “Hello Kitty” but the rest, just, WOW. Bad Girl is so good, loved it, has a vibe like The Pretty Reckless, the song “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” has this vibe like “Boys Like Girls” or maybe All Time Low, but obviously in a girlie way. But i kind loved it. I think is her best album After Let Go.

Avril’s my guilty secret :) Loved the previous albums and am genuinely looking forward to this one. It will also be interesting to see how she fares against Taylor Swift, who seems to have just aped her style and stepped into her space IMO, particularly the Girlfriend-style ‘rap’ in Shake It Off ;)
