Originally believed to be titled Roscoe's Wetsuit,' Childish Gambino has finally announced the title of his sophomore album. 'Because The Internet' will be released sometime in the winter of 2013/2014, according to Gambino's Facebook page. Last week, he tweeted (from @donaldglover) that the album has been completed. This is his first project since his last mixtape, 'Royalty,' and his first album since his debut, 'Camp' was released in 2011.
A confirmed track list has been added, which reveals features from Chance the Rapper, Azealia Banks and Jhene Aiko.
I don’t wanna hate but I wasn’t a fan of this. I loved sweatpants, he killed it. The rest besides like 2 songs is just a bunch of noise really. The last mixtape was like that as well. I was hoping for more tracks like the Camp album or anything semi-close to Freeks N Geeks where he goes in, bc he has something amazing lyrical talent. This tho…. smh i’m not on board with it.
He wants to explore many different styles and genres. I wouldn’t expect him to do the same thing twice when you consider his current mindset. Now I’m off to listen to it.
Melrose isn’t on the album :(
not impressed with this
holy shit its troy from community so sad he is leaving the show :(
Got mad respect for Gambino, but this album is wack, been trying to find a song I like, besides the Chance The Rapper feature, there’s no point in getting this
