Kanye premiered "New Slaves" from the upcoming album, titled Yeezus, by projecting videos around the world. He also performed the track, and another one called "Black Skinhead", on Saturday Night Live. Earlier this month Kanye teased us with another new song titled "I am a God" and hinted that the album would be released on June 18th. Hot 97 revealed that West's label Def Jam recently hosted a listening event for the album, the rapper's sixth solo offering, with DJ Paul Rosenberg saying: "Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I've heard it's dark, but really good."

Skrillex, Odd Future and Daft Punk are all rumored to be collaborating on the album. "It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually," said Thomas from Daft Punk. More news to follow about this summers biggest hiphop release. Watch "New Slaves" being projected below. iTunes accidently post the track list for the album, and has since been removed. But we managed to get a hold of it - And have included it below.

Recently, Daft Punk confirmed that they co-wrote the track "Skinhead". Meanwhile, rapper Chief Keef has recently confirmed that he guests on 'Yeezus' - but can't remember the name of the track he appears on.

I wouldn’t get too hyped yet, I was at one of the secret listening parties and it’s the same old “loop old soul sample and add an 808 and a snare on top” production formula from kanye. As we saw from 808 and HBs, he struggles when forced to create beats from scratch. That album was definitely a low-point in his musical career.

This whole emo rap phase he is going through at the moment is very transparent. Poor him, crying about slavery from his 12 million dollar apartment.

Overall, the album was very disappointing. Given your (embarrassing) post history, you seem like a big Kanye stan, so you better have your leather skirt ready to cry into come June 18th. A shame, he’ll never reach the heights of College Dropout again IMO. Harsh but true.

Eventhough he didnt create every beat from scratch. He is able to put people together and get the best from them (MBDTF). See Nicki Minaj. She is shitty but her verse on Monster was fucking crazy.

You legit made a Disqus account just to tell me this. And saying that you were at the “secret listening parties” doesn’t truly phase me seeing as I have footage from the listening party that was in NYC and it doesn’t sound ANYTHING like a soul sample + 808, you either are just lying to add credibility to an already poor argument or you just have no idea what you’re talking about lol. 808s and HB as a low-point in his career, hmmmmm, maybe because he broke up with his fiance and his mother died…….also, considering as 808s and HB influenced a lot of the younger artists today, even his “low point” is essential. This “emo rap phase” must not be very transparent if you yourself don’t get the actual message. Yes he has the glitter and the glam, but he knows the difference between how poor people get treated and how rich people get treated. He’ experienced both.
If you don’t like the album, that’s your opinion that I really don’t care about. As I said at the beginning, you actually made a Disqus account to post this, and it takes someone either very spiteful or very ignorant to purposefully call a kilt a skirt. And you called The College Dropout his best album, but you complain about him using “soul samples” when he obviously didn’t lol. Harsher and truer.

yeah… but also it is co produced by Mike Dean and Plain Pat… so not ENTIRELY by himself… but I think that doesnt matter. Still amazed how he manage to put legends together and make beautiful music.

Yeah. Im a christian and the pun on Jesus is no problem for me, but the “wordplay” is cheezy. I hope he changes it. But the album will be dope. Thats sure.

Expecting great things as usual from Kanye! His ego continues to build with this title, but that’s what you get from him. Expectations are very high to top his last album!

Just to be a dick… It’s Peter Rosenberg, not Paul Rosenberg of Hot97. Paul Rosenberg is Eminem’s Manager. Sorry for being “that guy”.

808s and heartbreaks was a more personal album, it was around the time he broke up with his girl and his mom passed.

Lol well from what I heard the album is basically ye doin him. He had full control of the album and it’s similar to 808s and heart breaks but wayyyyy more uptempo and very different. Alot of glitching and EDM influence. it’s defa different sound and something we never heard from an rap artist. Can’t wait to the album in its entirety.
