Underground legend and CEO of his brand new label, Disturbia Music Group, Block McCloud (Brooklyn Academy, AOTP, Gods of Chaos) announces the release of his first solo album, 'Four Walls', to be re-released Oct. 31st, 2013 in conjunction with the release of "The Fifth Wall : Four Walls Remixes" featuring all new production by DJ Waxwork.
The solo debut's from the man they call "Captain Hook" features a veritable who's who of the Underground's best emcees. Features include: Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks), Slaine (THE TOWN), Ill Bill, Reef the Lost Cauze, Thirstin Howell III, R.A. the Rugged Man, Celph Titled, Diabolic, and many more. The album also features McCloud's own roster of DMG artists including: Matt "Demunz" Munz (also the label's VP), Just-One, Raw Doggz, Lego the Future (his son) and his wife Fresh Jones. Produced entirely by DJ Waxwork (formerly of Snowgoons) It truly is a "Hip Hopera", a melodic masterpiece that fuses Wax's beats and cuts with Blocks rhymes and singing, seamlessly.
On the Production, Waxwork shows why he is highly touted as one of the premiere Underground producers in the game. Recreating a whole new feel behind the same exact album, making the new versions just as fresh and sometimes even better than the original, dare I say he out did himself? The fact that he has been able to reconstruct the production for the Remix Album without missing a step or losing anything in the process is a testament to his "Insane" genius. He and Block have composed a true Hip Hopera..a true Clas-Sick!
